&13;4. There are a couple of events at Manchester Memorial Hospital today. The Eastern Connecticut Cancer Institute at The John A. DeQuattro Cancer Center will host registered dietician Cheryl Dziura-Duke, MS, RD, CD-N to speak about the healthy colon. The event will take place from 6 p.m. until 7:30 p.m., at the cancer center. Learn the latest recommendations concerning nutrition and colon health. Intake of dietary fiber, red meat,eastern health jobs probiotics as well as lifestyle recommendations will be discussed. DeQuattro Community Cancer Center. Relay For Life is a celebration, a unique, challenging, and fun way to raise money and awareness of cancer in Manchester. It will take place on June 3 and June 4. Relay For Life is the signature activity for the American Cancer Society. More than just a fundraiser, this event brings together milies and friends of cancer patients to celebrate those who have survived cancer and to remember those who have passed away. Find where to search for jobs online and get an introduction to the networking tool LinkedIn. Some computer experience is necessary. Call the library at 860-763-3501 to register. There are two sessions to choose from, one today from 10:30 a.m. until noon or one tomorrow from 6:30 p.m. until 8 p.m.

&13;3. The Evening Ladies Bible Study group will be discussing the book One Minute After You Die by Erwin Lutzer. This study began on Tuesday, April 26 and should go for 6-8 weeks. It is held at the Ellington Baptist Church at 7 p.m. Topics include: Can near-death experiences teach us anything about life after death?  What does the Bible say about purgatory?  What will heaven be like?  Is it realistic to believe in hell?  How can we prepare for our own final moment?
